A science-fiction series set in the early decades of the 21st century, Space Island One II provides a glimpse of what life in space may be like. For the space station Unity, a 50-billion-dollar orbiting habitat, and its seven-person crew, space is both home and work. The team members are engaged in highly sophisticated research projects, meeting the demands of colonization as well as the day-to-day management of their own lives, made no less complex by their extraordinary circumstances.
