NaNoWriMo ended at 23:59:59 on 30, November – and I came nowhere near the 50,000-word goal (a little over 6,000 words were entered in by my hand in this contest.) While I did not meet the aspired goal of the project, I did manage to find myself in a great group of people – many of who made the 50,000-word goal. And even though the actual Mo of NaNoWriMo is over (that being November) I still find myself grouping with the other insane aspiring writers I first met at Midnight, 1 November.
I dare you to try it next year. You won’t regret it.
